Nina & Barbie
Maureen and Freddy got Nina almost every single Barbie thing that existed. They had their own playroom there were so many, so we Barbified her to see what she would look like as Barbie...

Nina attended Melville Primary until high school where she attended Aurora Art School before it was bought by Curro. Tap link if video doesn't play https://www.youtube.com/shorts/dSYcIO5vwsE
Nina's dad Freddy was awarded the Woltemade Gold Medal of Bravery for his assistance with the rescue of the Westdene Dam Disaster 27 March 1985 where 42 students drowned. The Mahners lived across the road from the dam and were there when the bus went in. Freddy saved several children and helped emergency services get the bus out. They also took in many animals from parents who couldn't take care of the animals after their devastating loss of their kids. They were an amazingly benevolent family. Read more about this story and discover more about the medal that was awarded and more about the military medal.
When Nina was 14, her parents bought her a brand new Mercedes Auto Cabriloet in 1992 for her birthday and she would take us to the White Horse Inn. Those were crazy fun days and I'm glad we had that opportunity because we wouldn't have it at an official age. She loved Mutha and Doc and they loved her. Everyone loved Nina. Those were the days, living it up in our crush velvet body suits.
Our love and condolences go out to all of The Mahners loved ones, may you feel their love all the days of your life xoxo
They were a significant loss to everyone who knew them and they are desperately missed and loved.
